If you choose to build a home here, you’ll be able to view the ski mountain from your bedroom window. You’ll be the first to see, in the early morning light, the champagne powder dusting the tops of Mount Werner. Roll out of your bed and you’re well on your way to first tracks. Or, without a neighbor in sight, you can stay in your pajamas curled up with a cup of coffee, and take a day off and watch the occasional bald eagle coasting the ridgelines right out your window.

Your eastern perch also provides a spectacular view of one of Steamboat’s favorite annual events – the Balloon Rodeo. Watch dozens of colorful balloons dot the skyline from your balcony, or you can head in for a closer look and cheer on your favorite balloon as pilots compete to see who can get closest to dipping their baskets into Bald Eagle Lake.
