lot story

Overlooking the Elk River and fishing ponds, this piece is a special one. Sleeping Giant Mountain sleeps majestically beyond the river, and to the west of it is Rattlesnake Butte. Rattlesnake Butte, named for the many rattlesnakes that den there, has a precarious history in the Old West. Years and years ago, an inebriated cowboy claimed that sleeping with pigs at your campsite would keep the snakes at bay. Rest assured, it’s miles away, and swine assistance won’t be needed in the meadows of Marabou.

YOUR PRIVATE RANCH COMMUNITY

A Western Country Club…Reimagined

Ownership in our Western Country Club means you never have to develop your parcel. Without building, this piece of property could be your very own place in western history. As a member of the community, your Marabou ownership guarantees you a minimum of four weeks per year at one of the Guest Cabins along the Elk River, and access to every Marabou amenity year-round! With every season offering so much you’ll want to watch the landscape change. On a green summer morning visit The Barn, saddle up, and ride up to your property, hitch your horse on your own plot of land and enjoy a picnic, take in your new view of Sleeping Giant and Rattlesnake Butte.
