lot story

Look to the Southwest and you’ll see the iconic Flat Tops Mountain Range against the horizon. People are known to have visited the Flat Tops for over 8,500 years, perhaps because of its life-giving beauty. When Euro-Americans arrived in in this area in the 1860s most of it was still occupied by Ute Indian tribes.  Still one of the most pristine National Parks, it’s easy to see why visitors are entranced. Past Trappers Lake loom majestic volcanic cliffs, and beyond them the vast sub-alpine terrain reluctantly yields to alpine tundra. Approximately 110 lakes and ponds, many unnamed, dot the country above and below the numerous flat-topped cliffs. Roughly 100 miles of fishable streams can be found in today’s Flat Tops Wilderness.

We like to think of it as all of the best amenities of a country club, only reimagined to include the best parts of a private luxury ranch community.  On a green summer morning visit The Barn, saddle up, and ride up to your property, hitch your horse on your own plot of land and enjoy a picnic, take in the view of the Sleeping Giant and Elk River recalling days gone by.
